I am buying extras of stuf that's still in the stores. I'll be able to
recover my costs at least if I end up not needing them.

On an oddly positive note, RockAuto is selling the proper strut rod bushing
for the 63 Classic! A Raybestos part too. I wonder how long ago it was
molded.
