matadors were pretty popular as police cars around then, and they were
pretty potent - 4dr rebel machines...  later adam-12 has them, dunno
if chips does or is too late.  the real lapd and chp - and many depts
around the country who looked over chp's shoulder - had early-'70s
matadors in their fleets.  alabama had them and 401 javelins too.
