Hi Mark,

  I used alloy wheels from a Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee in the Summer and steel wheels in the Winter on my 1988 Eagle Wagon with no problems.  I had wheel spacers custom made for the rear.  You can see pictures of it here:
