[AMC-list] DuraSpark working BUT.

Ok, I got a DuraSpark setup fairly cheap with the silver box, distributor, coil, plugs, wires, cap, rotor and most of the wiring harness(most). All used except for the plugs and wires. 
 I hooked it up and I was amazed that it started. I figured I would hook it up, something wouldn't be right and I"d have to go back and redo something and play with it, and go on and on, till I got it, so I was happy when it cranked.

 Well, it was getting dark so I cranked it again. (Currently, it's very difficult to crank, but I need to set the timing, change the plugs, and I need to hook up a couple of wires with connectors and not just spliced together. I have a couple like that, most of it has the connectors.

 Well, it was dark, I started it and I noticed my alternator light was BARELY on. It was a very light glow. I don't think it was on before. It MAY have been on before, but I don't think so. It's also NOT fully on, it's just a light glow.

 Did I do something wrong?
