I  believe that they go on the sides of the tail light, towards the middle.  That's where mine were located on my 1963 440

i found on feebay, a backup light kit for 61-63 americans. mine dont have
them. where exactly would they go? i have no holes in mine where i see they
would go. would you drill holes right below the tail lighs to mount them?
