Solution: stop using water based paint!! Then maybe it won't wash off if 
the car gets wet. Replace the window seals too, that might help if it's 
leaking real bad. Otherwise, drive the car and if it gets wet wash it 
later, water spots aren't permanent!! I got a new tag-word for us now... 
WEATHER QUEEN! Goes along nicely with "trailer queen"....  ;-)

Seriously, I can understand not driving a car in winter weather up 
north, or bad weather any time, as you're more likely to have an 
accident or the other drivers on the road are, even in a mild rain. But 
the baby won't drown or melt if it gets a bit wet... it was actually 
made to sit out in the weather!

Not meaning to pick on you specifically Armand, I just never have 
understood having a car and then not even driving it much -- except in 
the case where it's a rare and valuable specimen. I've got a lot of 
sentimental value in mine, but I'm going to drive it and enjoy it -- 
that's what I built it for!

On the flip side, I guess you have a hard time understanding why someone 
would put a lot of blood/sweat/tears (and yes, love!) in a car then 
actually DRIVE it in today's traffic and in bad weather... combined must 
send shivers down your spine!!

I hope to get there......not sure about taking the AMC along
though.......hate it when it sits outside overnite, I don't have an enclosed
trailer or tow vehicle anymore.
We'll see what happens, a good forecast for that weekend out by Thursday
before will make a lot of difference.
If the forecast is sunny and dry I may even risk taking the white Javelin
down there.
