[AMC-list] A Great AMC Day: Article on AMC Dealership's Builder

The Richmond Times-Dispatch today ran a "puff piece" article about a local business man made good.  I caught the following sentence:

"His first job was building a body shop for an American Motors Co. dealership at Roseneath Road and Broad Street. The contract was for $150,000."

The body shop the article mentions was built for Meyer AMC at 3318 West Broad St in Richmond.  I met a current friend of mine, Mike Coughlin, when he worked as a mechanic there in 1978.

Check out the street view.  The building is now a Maaco shop.  The former body shop is around the corner on Roseneath Rd, but Google's street view stops just short of a full view of it.
