I used my angle grinder (body grinder) followed by a 40 grit rol-loc pad on my angle die grinder to complete the repair.  I think I have the surfaces pretty level but it would have been nice to remove the backing plates and take them to a mill like someone on the list in Los Angeles has mentioned.  Some of us guys don't have all the tools though.  I bead blasted small brake parts and repainted them this afternoon and gave it up for the day.  Hopefully I will get this side back together tomorrow morningand do the other side, and perhaps bleed the brakes.
