Thanks! I looked and see what you mean.
Sure would like a better view of those to see what they actually did to them. 
I can't tell from the limited ad quality what was done or how good a job they actually did.
I have always questioned exactly how I would handle that beltline detail on the 64-65 if I chose to do one with front fender wheel openings.  With mine I just removed the beltline detail betweent he rear opening and the bumper.

I'm still not sure how I would do it!
I'd probably just mock them in place both with and with out that detail in place and pick the look I liked best.

I sure am tempted to dump the Ambassador and chase down an American body. I don't think I will though.
One more week and I am off restrictions and can make an attempt at actually working on it!

Check out the 65 Rambler 2-door drag car on the San Luis Obispo craigslist if you need rear quarters for that dream convertible.  The ad says the wheel wells have been widened for slicks but the quarters look smooth from the limited view in the ad.
