[AMC-list] Heat Riser

Does anybody  know where I can get a heat riser for my 1969 AMX?  I don't see any listed by any of the AMC parts vendors.   I bought the car a year ago and it has the trend setter side pipes.  The right pipe sometimes touches the strut rod bushing and if it had the heat riser it would clear.  If not my local parts supply house says they can get one for a 1973 401.  I know that year has a completely different exhaust manifold but I am not sure if the heat riser is the same.  He will only order it  if I pay up front and it cannot be returned.
