Surgery went well. He went in at 8:00, and we saw him around 3:30,
4:00PM. He was talkative last night, getting a little rest now. The
doctor ended up using rods, screws, taking out a disk, putting in a
cage and doing a graft. But he should now be able to stand up straight
and walk well now (well, after recuperating).

Thanks everyone for keeping him in your thoughts. I appreciate it.
We're planning on wandering off to the beach when he is able to do the
ride - and I'm planning on taking him to Starlight Drive-In once I'm
sure we can Ramble that far. I think it's a rule that kids and old
cars have to do the drive-in scene at least once.
