Re: [AMC-list] Last 401



I'd sear that I used to deliver pizza in an IHC Scout that had a 304 AMC
engine in it. I disticntly remember opening the hood of the Scout and the
hood of the white Javelin and comparing the engine appearance. I'd swear it
was the same engine. I believe the Scout was a 1970 model.
Is that possible?

Actually IH used the 304 in there vehicles as well

You will also see some IH's with 360's or 304's. AFAIK, they did not come
from the factory that way, but were swapped in for the 401 at some point.
Don't assume that an IH vehicle with an AMC V8 has a 401.
