Yeah, dwell is fixed by the Pertronix unit. Dwell (percentage time that the
"contact points" are closed, and therefore how long the coil has to charge
up) for points is a compromise for a spring-loaded metal lever run by a cam.
There's nothing too critical about it other than it has to be long enough
for the coil to charge.

Long dwell is great, especially when there's no wear or bouncing or floating
like real points!
