Jayson, Most likely this is coming from the around the thermostat housing area. Either the gasket or the upper or by pass radiator hose. Typical to have a little drip there that is hard to detect other than a little puddle that forms when you build up pressure. You could have coolant coming from the intake but I would start with the hose and thermostat housing first. I just saw the response from Davis and I would ask the same question. Did you mean you had oil dripping down onto the timing cover? If you really meant there is oil coming out of the timing covers, changing the intake gasket would be a fruitless effort. Now you could have oil and radiator fluid coming from the timing cover as well. The water passage goes through the timing cover. I think more info is needed from you. Alfano Performance 4849-76 st. There was coolant on the timing cover of the 290 V8. I do have to replace the intake manifold gasket anyway for there is oil seaping from the timing cover, but could this coolant also be coming from the intake manifold gasket? Nothing was leaking from hoses nor the thermostat. coolant was only on one side, in a groove, on the timing cover. Help much appreciated.
