Armand,

Craigslist is just free classifieds.  It's like an ad in the paper, but it's 
free and it's online.  Craigslist is not involved in the transaction in any 
way, and there's no protection of any sort.  Craigslist suggests that you 
only deal locally and in person to help avoid fraud.
