A: I know it's less than the T18/A as AMC used them with V8 in late model CJs, but not FSJs. The 6 cyl got the T177 after '80. I have a T18 w 4:1 (might be T18A with 6:1 first. Haven't crawled under to check yet) in my latest FSJ '82 J10 shortbox stepside with 360. I'll be fixing that one up for the road when I get back from "vacation" in E. TN and VA visiting the wife's family.

Anyone here know the torque capacity of a Jeep T176 4-speed?
