I hope to have located a Grand with a 360 in it that would have the sanden
a/c compressor. With any luck all the parts will still be there and I'll be
able to install a Sanden compressor with the appropriate brackets into my 70
Javelin. The Grand was dropped off at local u pull it yard, and the guy
stated "We don't get much call for a/c stuff off of Jeep Grand Wagoneers, so
the parts should still be there." They won't go look though.
Wish me luck. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

1991 was the last year for the Grand Wagoneer AND the AMC 360 V8 ... so YES,
that's an AMC 360. I think the 304's last year in a Jeep was earlier in the
1980's. Jim Blair can probably answer that more definitively.

Anybody know when jeep quit making and putting the AMC V-8 304 and 360
engines into full size Jeeps?
Would a 1990 Grand Wagoneer with a 5.9 liter V-8 be an AMC based V-8?
