Well, he actually takes it a step further, and brings carnival barker to
TV, which nobody's really done before.  When I was first caught by his
evil spell (Hey, camera guy, you gettin' this?) I looked him up, and 
found a wikipedia piece (he's apparently done a not-very-well-received
comedy film) and a bit of praise in the New York Times (iIrc).  Even 
Terry O'Reilly (Canadian advertising guy) featured Vince in an episode
of his radio show "The Age of Persuasion" earlier this year.
