Re: [Amc-list] NC AMC Auction

Looks like my brother and I will go up for Friday only, but not for the auction. Might peek in for a while, but can't buy anything now -- too many projects going on, and my daughter just ran into a stopped semi-truck. Peeled back the hood of her little Daewoo Lanos and pushed the radiator into the exhaust manifold, but the air bags didn't go off. Trailer bumper was just a couple inches above the car bumper. It's actually fixable, but looks bad. I think I could fix it for around $1000, but it's not really worth it -- except that it has only 75K on it and I just replaced the timing belt and some other maintenance items (coil and plug wires, water pump -- it's driven by timing belt and under the cover, and a couple other small things). Found another car with 80K on it for $2000, might just buy that. No TIME to fix the Daewoo now, not worth fixing to sell, could only get $1000-$1200 for it!!

I plan to be there Friday, April 3 only. This is a huge show. Bring
some comfortable shoes. If you want to see everything, spend two
days.
