A: The AMC 2.5 also came in the Eagles mid '83. I may be taking an '83 S10 Blazer with a dead turd point hate V-sick on part trade on my '87 Comanche, but it will be replaced with a 2.5 carbed AMC (since I happen to have one kicking around) For some reason putting AMC motors into Chevs can be SO satisfying! (not the first I've done. That was a Chev van with a 232 from a Pacer in place of a DOA 305)

I'm surprised that there was only a brief mention of the AMC 2.5L
four. Sure, it only made it into Jeeps (and the mythical four
cylinder Eagle Premier) plus the base Dodge Dakota 1996-2002, but
it's a GEN-U-WINE AMC engine and should fit at least as well as some
of the other suggestions.
