[Amc-list] Concord A/C question...

Since the 82 has the valves on the a/c I have got one side to close, after a LOT of struggle.  The right side though, through penetrating shots and multiple types of wrenches will not break loose.  I am warming my WD-40 so it will spray, but wondered IF both are normal threads.  Counterclockwise to loosen?  The left side was and I have carefully tried both ways, but with no success.
