A good plan. The one problem I've found is, the newer sandens use #10 
for the vapor-from-dash-evap unit; AMC use #8 and it's flare. PROBLEM!

But www.acsource.com will sell you a #10 O-ring end for the Sanden that 
will accept a #8 hose. Then put a flare on that end for the evap unit. 
SUCCESS!!
