Got it! Yeah, it seems like a mess. It's a shame. It's funny, but like 
most of us -- I think, or foolishly assume -- I didn't exactly pick AMC 
cars because they were frugal or whatever. Hell, I was 18, what did I 
know? It was 1973 anyways. But they are in many ways penultimate 
American engineering, 95% good, 5% bad (until AMC Corp reached up and 
pulled the handle :-) Good interchangable maintainable solid AMerican 
engineering!
