Hmmm, the NV247 on our former WJ was a full-time case with a gerotor pump and a bias valve that would shunt torque to the front wheels anytime it measured front shaft RPM < rear shaft. They can't be towed on 2 wheels for this reason (or smog checked on rollers ;). Real nice in the slick stuff.

They called it "Quadra" something, but not "Quadra-Drive", that was the one that would feather the brakes on any loose wheel.
