[Amc-list] 1967 770 Rebel Wagon Tire Size?

Can anyone tell me what is the largest size tire I can use on my wagon?  I 
asked COSTCO and they told me it depended on my rim size.  I clean my spare and 
found 5.5 next to the tire stem hole.

I am planning on buying new tires and want the largest size.  Also is it 
better to install black walls or the 1" white walls?
