Cliff; yeah, I saw that show.  My wife wanted to watch it, and, like you, I wanted to see the cars.  I did see what looked to be an AMC wagon; quick shot of it on the street as he was coming out of a building/crossing the street.  I couldn't be sure of "what" it was model wise - I thought it was something like a early Matador wagon - but I did see the woodgrain sides...
