yes, I have done this swap on a Frost White 1970 Javelin. With the correct
bellhousing, a different or new drive shaft, correct linkages for clutch,
and a little trans mount fabricating, you got yourself a T5.

Don NOT, I repeat, Do NOT machine the bell housing. It's way easier to
machine the input shaft and bearing cover on the transmission.

Do a Goolge search for AMC T5 swap or something and you will find a page
written by Mr. John Elle. The quintessential expert on the T5 swap.

or keep asking me questions or other fellows on this list who have done the
swap, we'll coach you.
