[Amc-list] Popping the rebuilt head back on - prime and paint, or just paint?

Got the head back from Goza in Acworth (he did a great job!), and am
getting ready to sew it back up tomorrow. I'd like to paint it, and
was wondering if I need to prime it first, or just use the spray
engine paint?

I didn't find the right paint for '65 196 OHV (I should have looked
harder), but have the paint for the newer 232. I think the paint on my
196 is greener, and the 232 has a blue-er color. Anyway - prime it
first? Or just clean it to get oils off (the outside) and paint it?

Hhmmm - anybody know where to get the right color paint for a '65
196OHV? I kinda like the original color.
