[Amc-list] Electrical Problem

I'm still working on my 70 AMX.? I've come a long way, since the engine is in and actually starts.? I have an electrical problem.? The alternator light on the dash is on.? The battery is not being charged.? I had the alternator tested and it is functioning fine.? I even took an alternator I know is working and put that one on the vehicle.? It appears as if everything is wired correctly (I've checked and double checked).? Any suggestions?? Would a faulty voltage regulator cause the alternator light to come on?
