Hmmm, me, personally,, I'd go back and take a good look to see if the onis an aluminum motor.
Then If so, I'd pull that head.
If it looked savable I'd buy it and concentrate on building it for in the American.
Being aware that you could be buying a pig in a poke and end up with possible D.O.A aluminum six...

Still, me being me, that's what I'd do...
