Yeah, they can be made to fit, but still too wide a starting point for an American.
I doubt that I personally would ever want the IRS enough to go about mounting one up.
I've got V-8 springs up front doubled 2nd and 3rd leaves in the rear now. 
If that don't bother me, I don't figure I need an IRS :]
