Re: [Amc-list] [BaadAssGremlins] axle question/eagle

Unfortunately we do what we have to when we have to do it.

I've been to a pull a part and discovered something I have wanted for a long
time, but I didn't have the correct tool to remove it without destroying
additional parts. I left and went home to get the tools, when I returned and
walked back into the pull a part office I was dumbfounded to see a guy there
with the part I wanted in his hand and me left in the cold. Will I suffer
that again??
Not if I have a hammer and cold chisel or a crow bar with me.

Armand

> Thanks and I was checking thru that. I called John's Auto Salvage and the
lady told me 'the cows got out' so John wasn't near phone and is supposed to
call me back. I may add that she said they looked it up in the interchange
manual and it interchanges with 1980 Pacer. It may/may not but my mechanic
told me best call off the deal simply because that whoever pulled out the
axle probably tore up rest of unit; something I have seen thousands of times
at local pick a parts where someone will rip out whole dash with crowbar
only to get 25 cent bulb; or cold chisel solid sheetmetal to get one brace
because they didn't have a 1/2 inch wrench to remove it.
