It's at least $20K over priced! It's a bit incongruous also. It's built as a very nice show quality driver, not restored. Of course that really doesn't make any difference in price on something like that, a high quality driver is probably worth a bit MORE than a perfectly restored example -- at least it would sell a lot easier. Museums aren't clamoring for Rambler Americans. The Vintage Air and even the dual carbs (which was a 54-55 Nash option on the Statesman, never on a Rambler) do make it more interesting as a nice cruiser. ------------- Date: Mon, 30 Jun 2008 16:55:50 -0700 (PDT) From: Joe Smith <know_ware@xxxxxxxxx> http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/car/734814954.html I can't imagine such a high price of $32500,?but it does?make a pretty picture. for that price, I think a person could prolly buy 4 that were in mint or near mint condition... -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AMC.html (free download available!) _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
