Yeah, I noted that the company that Tom sent the link has 15 watt versions with that same controller! I trolled around and found one for the lowest price of $99! Then I read some more and they don't want the cable from the solar panel extended more than 5' and I have to go up an additional story above my workshop to get roof! Not sure hwat is up about that. I thne noted that they make a 12119 version made exactly for Optimas and gel cells, even aircraft rated! However it specifically states it is not for standard wet batteries. I found an RV place that sells the one Tom linked to for $39.99+ shipping an dit came out to about $47 total to my house. So if anyone wants one there are lower prices to be found! I have a link bookmarked for it if anyone wants it, but I've never dealt with them! I think I will wait till I get back or am ready to leave SF and order the 12119 version once I find the best price from someplace I am comfortable dealing with! Hey, Joe Fulton, Any aviation places you know of that have good deals???? -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: amxron@xxxxxxxxxxx > You can get a solar charger made for an RV.
