Yeah, I know it's more about the lack of corrosion and fumes issues for me!
The long life is a plus.
I killed this one a time or two and always just charged it half A$$ed and ran the car.
I figure now that is what led to it not really being charged!
I'm on the third battery in our 98 Altima!
First one went a year and a half.
second one about 5
The one in it now is actually about 6 years old!
I needed a battery for the Altima two winters ago and found our pontoon boat battery would fit [just barely].
When the weather got warm last summer I figured that pontoon boat battery was 4 years old and boats can be hard on them so I bought a new one for the pontoon boat and let the boat battery in the Altima. I figured I'd have to change it out last winter, but it is still working well.
