Throttle linkage is cake.
Get a cable and throttle pedal from any 69 AMC six and bolt it in.
May have to drill a few holes, but no big deal.
 I alsways swap out the linkage drive when I get to fiddlign around with the older ones.
One broken motor mount and a stuck throttle from engine lift will make you pucker...
