[Amc-list] FW: Ebay AMX -- Roof Spoiler

The roof spoiler was only for the Javelin.   The mount areas are not
shaped correctly for the AMX (I have a spoiler I've been saving for my
AMX, and I've done the comparison).   They can be made to fit easily by
shaving off some glass on the inside of the mount areas and reshaping a
bit.   I have seen other gen-1 AMX's "spoiled" this way, but on the ones
I've seen the spoiler is usually mounted a little further back than this
one, and not tilted so "nose-down".   Done right, they actually look
pretty good IMHO.

I'd ask for some close up scans of the judging logs.
Looks like it scored 7's for some of the exterior and no extra point for
originality.
I beleive the roof spoiler was a dealer option?
Tom Benvie know all this stuff of the top of his head.

Me, I think it is one sweet looking car going on pics and not caring
much for "originality".
