[Amc-list] oh well it's finally over

Yeah, that's correct it's finally over, it took 38 and a half years but it
finalyy happened. This morning I started the 304 in my 70 Javelin SST and
the fuel pump began to leak a puddle onto the driveway. I've had this car
since May of 1972 and bought it with only 35,000 miles on it. It now has
about 110,000 miles. Unless the previous on eowner changed it th epump under
warranty it's still the factory pump. I really hate to pull this pump off
but now I have no choice. I have a used pupm from a 70 360, I think I'll try
it to see if it still works oK.
38-1/2 years, 110,000 miles on a 1970 design fuel pump. Is that good
service??

So, if I should need a replacement, who should I look to, Galvin's, Kennedy
American, Rock auto, American Parts depot, who has been treating you guys
the best.

Armand
