[Amc-list] front shocks

I'm in the middle of a complete brake job and decided
to change front shocks on a 73 Jav. The fsm says
remove the two lower retaining nuts. The front nut is
accessable but the back one I can't get a socket
on.Anyone know any tricks to replace shocks??
