I'll both agree and disagree with that.

For my 67, there's no way I'd put anything other than the correct 
pattern and color door panels in it but I think the pattern is specific 
to 1967 440 wagons with a brown and tan interior so unless a mess of 
those pop up, fat chance on someone like Legendary doing the panels.

On the other hand, a set of charcoal panels would look great in my 68 
American which has very little interior to speak of. Given how 
un-original the rest of the car is, I'd have no problem putting wrong 
year and color interior parts in it.

I would think the smart way to do this would be to start with the 
SC/Rambler panels since there's enough money in them where people would 
be willing to commit to a parts run.

BTW, I think some of the holes in the panels for armrests moved around 
depending on trim level and year. If matching armrests were done up at 
the same time, it's probably not an issue but it would be if you were 
keeping the originals.
