58-62 L-heads use an Auto-Lite ignition system. 63-65 L-head uses Delco, and all 195.6 OHV engines use Delco.

Pertronix! Part #1162A, Delco 6cyl with Vacc. Adv. Fit fine,
it's so well designed that when you drop the distributor back
in, to the exact same orientation, the timing will be the same.

It's easy in the AMerican too, since the yellow wire to COIL + is
straight battery, there's no resistor wire or ballast resistor.
