I started dating things long ago when I swore I'd just changed
that water pump...  but upon reflection it was 5 years old.
Keeps hose, radiator, battery, ... problems from creeping up
on you!

Plus, when you take an old car to a shop, and the whole chassis
is clean, neat, labelled, etc you get top-notch service, every
time. Sometimes my cars look like crap on the outside, but not
underneath! Just a putty knife and wire brush does wonders
on brake and suspension jobs, and 30 minutes spent cleaning
really pays off; you can read part numbers, see cracks and wear,
torques are accurate, flanges fit flat without grit in them, ...

Good idea! It would help w/torque tube rears...
