When I had my AMXs headliner done, we used a Hornet
wagons shell, trimed to fit and glued some material
that was close to the original. An upholsterer did it
and it turned out good. Unless you want the exact
material, you might have to improvise.
On my American we went a complete opposite and
fashioned two ribs, then fabbed a headliner. I had the
visors done to match. Though it is no where near the
original, it looks good, it's tight, matches the
upholstery and I don't run around with a stick amd
board holding up the ceiling. Plus it was affordable
as all get out.....Russ
