" Don't know if anyone here has run Evans WATERLESS Antifreeze yet, but
" it is run at ZERO pressure and does not boil like water and
" conventional antifreeze.
it doesn't need to be pressurized; it boils in the mid 300s iirc.
" I know of one guy, a while back that ran it in his Dodge Dakota with
" a 215-degree thermostat (stock was 205) and he picked up 3.5 MPG, by
" doing so. It stays liquid in contact with the head surfaces, where
" combustion really heats up the head castings around the coolant
" passages.
on one hand i'd think better contact would cool the head better,
sucking energy otherwise available for power from the combustion
process. otoh water is unique in its thermal capacity; maybe
evanscool can't cool as well even with better contact.
" Check it out at : http://www.evanscooling.com/main25.htm
there's also a paper there in which he showed that adding 10%
propylene glycol renders ethylene glycol nontoxic. it's documented
well enough to have been published in a medical research journal.
