both the '68-'70 199 and 4bbl 290 had flattops.  i think with a '70
head you have no squish, as up until the 4.0 the only closed-chamber
199/232/258 head was the original '64-7 with 56cc.  '68-'76 heads had
an open 64cc chamber.  '77-'80 heads were 74cc...
