Eddie, As long as you get one from a 4.0L with an automatic transmission it should have the 3:55 rear axle in it. so, you are looking for the fuel injected straight six 87-01 all got the same ratios. 3:55 with automatic 3:08 with standard shift. If you ignore the V6 and four cyl models you should be good to go. As for axle type you will find either a Dana 35 or Dana 44 or chrysler 8 1/4". Any of those will work, the dana 44 and chrysler 8 1/4 will be somewhat overkill for a 4cyl Eagle, but they'll still work fine. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Eddie Stakes" <eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Hi Mark and thanks, sometime this week I will go over there and per Frank's > mention, pull off the cover and count gears in there.
