Oops! I totally spaced out that this was an early 232! In '79 they changed the plugs from NGK 2635 (14mm, 3/4" reach, 13/16" hex, gasket seat, resistor, projected tip, V-power (v-grooved center electrode), .039" gap) to NGK 6334 and again in '82 to 5084 (for 4.2L) to 7373 in '87 (4.2L and 4.0l)

I'd think you could use a stock plug that's spec'd for a 78-83 258. These were
all HEI engines even though it was a Ford system instead of a GM system. I'd
think the end result would be similar.
