Anyone need a carb? <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BLOWTHRU/message/8258;_ylc=X3oDMTJxOHFyM2loBF9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkAzIzMDIxNTkEZ3Jwc3BJZAMxNzA1MTIzMjQ0BG1zZ0lkAzgyNTgEc2VjA2Rtc2cEc2xrA3Ztc2cEc3RpbWUDMTIwMzY2ODY1MQ--> Posted by: "Andrew MacPherson" ttz28@xxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:ttz28@xxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=%20Re%3AAnyone%20need%20a%20carb%3F> theodin469 <http://profiles.yahoo.com/theodin469> Thu Feb 21, 2008 9:04 am (PST) I've got a Holley 4150 (square bore) laying around with a PILE of extra gaskets, bowls, metering blocks, center sections, jets, etc, etc.. Was using on my twin turbo Z28 in a blowthru config with great success, but when I swapped the drivetrain over to the 300zx I decided to go EFI.. Carb looks ugly, but you could easily bring it around with a little elbow grease, especially since there are all kinds of new gaskets and power valves.. I have 3 center sections, which will allow you to build this into a 650, 700, or 800 double pumper.. 650 to 800cfm holley 4150's all have the same baseplate, so the center section dictates the CFM rating.. Also have 2 or 4 extra bowls, 2 extra metering plates (2 have enlarged PVCR's).. One of the baseplate's corners was broken off, but I had it welded and it is very strong and looks very flat.. Hrm, that's all I can think of ATM.. Throw me an offer if you're interested..
