bedlining the interior is popular with the serious offroad jeeper
crowd.  you can lay it on as thick or thin as you want.  shouldn't be
any worse than undercoating.

i'd want to do something stronger than just wire brushing to eliminate
rust, but then rust is more of a problem around here than where you
are i suspect.
