this thread reminded me of my teen years cruising up and down van nuys blvd. on wednesday nights years ago. one of the things i did to my '69 rebel sst was to bend the manually powered ww squirters sideways so that when i depressed the foot pedal the squirters squirted the cars to the left and right of mine! only teenagers could get a kick out of something like that!!  another thing we did was to take the receiver off of the phone handset, cord and all, and place the cord in between the armrest and the bucket seat. when we'd see a good looking girl in the next car, we'd say that the phone just rang and it was for her!  maybe we were the precursors of the cellular phone movement!
